The Platinum dual-layer garment has been specifically engineered with our ColdPruf technology to trap air between the layers of fabric to provide a natural warmth shield. The Platinum thermal tights offer the desired level of warmth and comfort in very cold to extreme cold weather during medium to high activity. Nature's natural warmth fiber, merino wool, is blended with polyester on the outside and combined with CPT Performance Polyester on the inside, to provide maximum warmth, dryness, and comfort with Intellifresh (tm) technology. The ColdPruf Base Layer product line has been developed for comfort in all cold weather environments, whether at home, on the job or enjoying the outdoors.

I ordered a 1X, (5' tall, 200lbs) and they fit a little loose even after washing and drying in machine a few times. I'm fine with this as I didn't want them skin tight. A bit long in sleeves (everything is on me) but I like that it's long enough to tuck in. Very warm to me, (40 yrs in Miami, FL now northern VA) as I'm still acclimating to different weather. There is enough wool in it to keep you warm but inner layer is not scratchy at all to me. Actually warmer than mid weight set from LLBEAN and much less expensive. Good deal all around.
