Super impressed with the quality for the money and i'm a major hat snob, the materials are great and of a quality thickness, mesh like material with backer on it around the majority of the hat with a ripstop front.Just to avoid confusion this is not like a trucker hat, this mesh is a not see through, it has a backing,looks somewhat similar to the inside of a motorcycle helmet meshi like the spots for velco though i think the one on the top of the crown is an odd choice, but wholly unnoticeable when your wearing the thing.The hat's crest is of medium height, it's not the super tall kind like the kids are wearing, but it's not low profile like and old fishing cap or canavs/thin cloth type might be, the height is more or less like the standard ball cap, again not one of the super tall ones, i felt i needed to comment on that due to another review.also the condor logo is noticeable but not quite as much as the picture makes it out to be, i'm personally not a patch kinda guy, i just wanted a good quality fitted hat of this color, I'll be ordering the multicam and the brown as well now, for this price i can have 3 hats compared to a flexfit from an outdoor company like MW or arcteryx and this is of similar quality, that said, i did put a couple of patches on it to test the velcro and it seems good, held a few rubberized patches of similar size of the areas offered.as i said, great quality and i will be buying a number of these hats in the future!
