These are a good sturdy shoe. Great for fall and winter and I love the color. However the fit is a little strange. They are very tight and VERY narrow. Do not get these if you have wide feet! They are hard to get on because they are so tight over the top. They do have decent arch support but for me it's in the wrong place, a little too far back on the shoe. Once they're on they're pretty comfortable. I normally wear an 8 or 8.5. I got an 8 in these but wish I could've gotten 8.5 instead, but it was sold by 3rd party. I also think a bigger size would've fit better in the front half but would've flopped around in the heal because they nearly do that now with the 8. If you have really narrow feet these might be a great fit for you. I liked them well enough to keep them and hope they get more comfortable as they continue to break in.My foot is an average size 8. I'm not a wide width, just average. This shoe is cut SO SMALL in more than one ways. The length of the shoe is NOT a true size 8. It's more like a 7 or 7.5. The tongue is stitched so poorly that my foot cannot pass it to slide into the boot. It's like a wall there.These are HORRIBLE and on top of everything, they're wanting me to pay nearly $6 to return them. NO THANK YOU. I'll donate them before I pay to return these.Save your money. I could not even get half of my foot in the shoe it was so narrow. Unless your foot is no wider than I ruler, I would not buy these shoes. The only good thing about them - they are cute. Cute sitting in my closet until I find a child who can wear them.I liked them they just did not fit right.Well you have to order 2 sizes up. I wear a 6.5 I ordered a 7 and it was so tight I couldn't get my foot in the shoes. I don't wear a 8 so ..it would fit. The shoe looks great but I want this shoe so bad I just refuse to wear a size 8. The material is nice..Very cute chukkas. They are a bit tight in the arch/laces area, which you can easily fix by loosening the laces.
