8 inch double toggle boot Bearpaw footwear combines comfort and contemporary style. Their footwear is made from quality materials that provide a natural beauty that's wearable year round.
I had to return a different model of these Bear Paws, but the Abigails were perfect! I ordered my usual size, 8.5W and had no problem getting them on my Fred Flintstone feet! Highly recommend.I can wear these without orthotics comfortablyWe've had multiple pairs of Bearpaw boots, both girls and womens. They are warm, hold up well and look great. They are true to size in lenght but do run a bit wide overall. So here's the deal...these have got to be the best boots ever. I have heel spurs so I have to be careful about what I put on my feet. Although, as expected, they hurt after a while, all I have to do is my leg stretches and all is right with the world again. These boots are comfortable, warm, cozy, fuzzy, you name it. I forgot I had them on at one point during a 16hr shift. They feel like walking on a furry floor. That's as best I can describe them. I wear Birkenstock for the most part and AVIA because of the spurs. These boots fit great and with the extra leg stretches, feel great too. Trust me. I've gone through many shoes/boots to find what works for me, spending ridiculous amounts of money to do it and been sorely disappointed in the process over the years. I'm taking them to get fitted for an orthotic as soon as the holidays are over. Remember what I said earlier, it's NOT THE BOOT that hurts, it's my feet that are messed up. For the person without bad feet, you'll quickly fall in love with these boots. I'm wearing them already without the orthotic and I LOVE THESE BOOTS!!! Both of my feet have spurs but only the right one reminds me in these boots. Usually BOTH feet will feel as though someone is stabbing me with a serated edged knife in any shoe/boot except Birkenstock and AVIA after about an hour. I had these boots on for about 6 hrs before the right foot started to scream. Even then, the pain was so minimal, I kept waiting for the REAL pain to hit...got up, did my stretches for about 30 seconds and POOF, the pain was gone. The left one never did hurt nor was it uncomfortable. I wore two pairs of sweatsocks with the boots just in case they didn't live up to what others have posted about them being warm. I catch the bus. I live in Michigan. By the time I got to work, I took one pair of socks off. No problem. Wore them home in colder temps. No problem. Thank a bunch BEARPAW rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. To me these are perfect. I order one or two pairs per year. I wear them multiple times per week. I'm a teacher - on my feet a lot. They are good with or without socks. I'm aware of the debate over quality of fur and fake vs. real, but I don't really care which is true. My feet stay warm and never ever sweat in these boots. I own some of the more expensive brands in the same style, with those my feet sweat. So whatever they put in the Bearpaw brand is simply fabulous. They're cute and comfortable, but not as warm as other Bearpaw boots I've purchased. I also wish they came pre-treated. It wasn't a huge deal to do at home, I just wanted to be able to wear them right away.I really adore these boots. They are so soft and warm and fuzzy. Chicago winters are cold and brutal and my feet stay nice and toasty in these. They are not ideal for snowy/wet days, which should be obvious. Suede + salty dirty slush = ruined boot suede. These are perfect a quick trip to the corner store, running errands, commuting on cold days if it's not actively snowing and the sidewalks are clear, and I even wear wear them all day in the office on casual Friday sometimes. I have had them for about a month now and they seem to be holding up ok. I normally wear an 8.5 or a 9 in boots and I ordered the 9 in these and they fit perfectly at first. There is a little more room in them now that I've worn them for a bit and they've stretched out slightly. But I still think the 8 would have been too small. They do look a bit silly, in my opinion. They kind of remind me of teddy bear feet when I look down. But for the comfort factor is worth it for me. They feel like hugs on my feet!!!Minus one start because the dye has a tendency to transfer from both the suede and the wool. I have the black pair and have seen the dye transfer onto dry paper towel that I used to wipe of a scuffs, and also onto lighter socks. I'm almost always wearing these with black socks and leggings or very dark jeans, so this isn't a big problem for me.This was my third pair of Bear Paw boots! I loved them so much, I have in three colors! The boots are so soft and durable! I also purchased bear paw spray waterproofer so I could walk on the snow without getting my socks wet. I get a ton of compliments on these boots. As a less pricey alternative to an Ugg or Emu boot, this is a fantastic buy.I ordered these in black. They arrived promptly and were well packaged. I ordered my usual shoe size which turned out perfect, these are defintely true to size. These boots are incredibly comfy, I have worn them every day since receiving them around 6 weeks ago. The sheepskin is soft and thick, very warm but never too hot. The boots are very well made and look great.I wear these boots as house slippers and have never worn them outside, it's the way I intended to use them. To anyone thinking of buying a pair as their everyday boots to be worn out, I would say be wary of using them out in snow, sleet etc . I have splashed water on them a couple of times and have found that they mark unless you wipe the water off right away. This is the only reason I've not given these boots five stars! It could be that the boots would benefit from treatment spray but it's not something I can comment on as I've not tried it.In short, fantastic as house slippers - I absolutely love mine! - and a great alternative to very similar sheepskin boots with a much higher price tag!I buy these boots all the time they are amazing for the price you pay and are no different to uggs at a fraction of the price ,buying from here you get to choose your style rather than if I go to tkmax you get one style.he only thing I would say about them which isn't negative is that you need a size smaller than you would normally get as they are sheep skin and do stretch within a few days of wear ,as they are full of fur insideReturned for these reasons:1. Too small - I take a size 4 and the size 5 ordered was too short.2. Glue trails in several places on both boots.3. Ordered Chocolate brown but the leather colour was sort of faded and patchy-looking.4. Trim at top edge of boot was ragged, badly trimmed.Overall, very disappointed in the quality. Have given two stars purely for the sheepskin fur which was nice and fluffy. For the price I paid, they are very warm boots. quite wide fit when the fluff flattens, but not uncomfortable. Super warm in the winter, I never had any problems with the cold. I gave it 4 starts only because one of the buttons fell of, but its not a big drama. I paid £30.00 in comparison to £140 for UGG, which were exactly the same qualityBeautifully made boots, as good as Uggs but half the price. Initially feel a bit tight but this due to the very thick sheepskin lining which moulds to your feet after a few wearings. Very smart as well as warm and very good value for money.
